Ahoy, Shipfam! Excitement is building as we prepare for Asia’s 1st Family, Arts & Music Cruise Festival this December! IT’S THE SHIPFAM will set sail on an unforgettable family-friendly adventure from Port Klang to the beautiful shores of Phuket and back. Here’s what you can expect day to day aboard the cruise.
Venue: Port Klang Cruise Center
Check-in: 11:30 AM (GMT+8)
Boarding: 12:00 PM (GMT +8)
Gate Closes: 2:00 PM (GMT+8)
Your journey begins at the Port Klang Cruise Terminal with check-in starting at 11.30am. Be sure to have all your necessary travel documents such as your passports, Visa (if required), and Costa Serena cruise tickets ready. Gates will close at 2:00pm and any late arrivals will risk not being able to come onboard. So plan your time accordingly.
Once onboard head straight to your cabin as stated on our cruise tickets where your cabin card will be ready for you. Do make sure to link your cabin room card to your credit card, as all onboard purchases are made using your cabin room card. Register your credit card at the self service terminals located at the Lobby on Deck 3.
As you explore the ship, take in all the amazing amenities, from our sprawling family fun zones to the artsy corners and live music performances that will set the tone for the rest of your holiday with us.

After a leisurely morning at sea, we’ll dock at the famous Patong Beach in Phuket. This is your chance to step off the ship and dive into the heart of Thailand’s vibrant culture.
Patong Beach offers something for everyone! Whether you want to explore the bustling markets, indulge in delicious Thai cuisine, or lounge on the sandy beaches with your family, the options are endless. Make the most of this time to explore the sights, sounds, and flavors of this tropical paradise.
Just remember to be back onboard by 11:00pm local Phuket time.
Full Day Cruising
Our third day is all about enjoying the open sea. Spend this day exploring the ship’s exciting lineup of onboard activities. From thrilling waterslides to interactive workshops and mesmerizing live performances, there’s something for every family member.
This is your opportunity to bond with loved ones over fun challenges, catch a movie on deck, or join in on one of our family games. While the kids get creative at our arts and crafts stations, adults can unwind with a relaxing spa treatment or enjoy the variety of live entertainment happening across the ship.

As we return to Port Klang, do remember to clear your bills early to avoid any delays during disembarkation. Costa Serena accepts cash (USD), credit & debit card. Do refer to Costa Serena for full disembarkation and check-out procedure.
